EXPERIENCE
Since 1991, Dovetail General Contractors has been creating unique, finely crafted residential and commercial buildings in the Puget Sound region.  As builders in the field, we are a team with experience ranging from architectural concrete and large scale foundation work, to fine finish carpentry and custom furniture.  As project managers, we come from backgrounds in construction, architecture, engineering, and fine furniture.  These diverse skill sets manifest in a well orchestrated, broad based ability to create engaging projects, and to solve the challenges along the way.

We begin every project with a well-balanced construction group in place, and they stay there continuously, every day, from the day the project starts to the day you move in.  Dovetail has the tools and systems to aggressively manage the project schedule, and keep the project team positioned to make the next critical path decision.

OUR SHOP
We own and operate a fully equipped wood shop which provides cabinetry, millwork, and general support for our construction projects as well as non-Dovetail projects. We love our shop, and you will too. The shop is a place where we gather with our clients and architects to make decisions about cabinetry, furniture, and other finish details of your project. We have a large selection of millwork samples, wood species, hardware, and finishes to inform and inspire your choices. We encourage the community to contact the shop for any cabinetry or furniture needs.
